Frida Kahlo

       Frida Kahlo was a Mexican painter and it was very known for her unusual paintings. She is famous for her accident when she was young. When she has the accident she started painting and in this paintings she painted herself. Then, she meet Diego Rivera, a communist artist, and she marry him.

    Frida had a lot of problems in her life and she suffered a lot. She reflect this pain in her works. Apart of the accident, he show his pain when she saw her husband with her sister and her abortion too.

     In this self-portrait Frida show herself dressed as a man, with short hair and man´s clothes, it seems that this clothes are from Diego. She painted after she get divorced from Diego. He show herself cutting her hair and it appears surrounded by her hair. Above the painting it appears a verse of a song: 
 " See, if I loved you, it was for your hair, now you´re blad, I don´t love you any more."

    In this other painting Frida appeared lie down in a bed and it show her pain when she had a abortion and she lost her baby. In the film Frida was very affected because she knows that she never can get any baby.

I chose this video because a woman appear in it explaining what is for her the Women´s day and she explain the women´s situation all over the world. Apart of this, I chose this video because the woman who appear in it is a known woman.

My carnivals

The 9th of February were the carnivals in Agurain. The people in Agurain were dressing up. Me and my friend dressed up as a forest woman. 

Firstly, my friends and I were dancing in the afternoon in Santa Maria´s square and we spoke with other people in Agurain.

Then, we went to my friend´s house and we had dinner there. 

At night, we went to Santa Maria´s square again and we stay the night there, singing and dancing.
